Interested in submitting your baby to us for consideration? Great! We’ll gladly review it. First, please take a look at the following FAQ and feel free to contact us via the contact page or at admin@afterglowspublishing.com.

 

Q: How long does it take to get a reply?

A: Typically you will get a confirmation we received your submission within 24-48 hours. We will then review your story and get back with you within 60 days. If you do not receive an confirmation that we received your submission feel free to contact us asking for the status of your submission.

 

Q: What are the terms of the contract?

A: Our contract terms at for three years from publication date for digital and print. We pay royalties of 45%.

 

Q: Is editing included in the contract offer?

A: Yes. After Glows is not a vanity publisher. We are a full service publisher and our books go through at least three rounds of edits and receive profession cover art.

 

Q: Does After Glows provide Marketing support?

A: Yes. AGP employs a publicist that we work with to provide blog tours for every new release, plus social media promotions. Also, AGP has an advertising budget for FB ads, blog ads, BookBub ads, and other types of advertising. We do ask each author to also do their own marketing to help spread the word and build their reader base.

 

Q: Does After Glows send out reviews?

A: Yes. AGP has a review team of 100 plus verified reviewers, and growing, who post to Amazon, Goodreads, and other book stores where they are able.

 

Q: How do I submit my manuscript?

A: A query letter with with the book title, if it is part of a series or a stand alone title, completed word count, a 200 word or less summary, and previous publishing credits if any in the body of the email. Please also send a 1-2 page synopsis and the full manuscript in the below format as an attachment.

  • Send manuscripts in a Word doc (.doc or .docx)
  • Font is Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line spacing is 1.5
  • Set paragraph indents to .5 Do not use tabs.
  • use *** for scene breaks
  • use page breaks at the end of end chapter
  • No extra spaces before the chapter header or at the end of the chapter.
  • No headers or footers
